Does The Treatment Hurt?

The treatments are pain free, but you may feel a light buzzing sensation during your session. 
 
One of our protocols causes slight discomfort to clients, however, we will not be using this on your first session unless specifically requested.

Is The Therapy Safe For Everyone?

Yes, treatments with the Electro-Equiscope are safe for almost everyone – even children. Due to lack of data, we do not treat clients who are pregnant or have any battery operated implanted devices, such as a pacemaker.

What Can I Expect During Our Session?

You and your practitioner will work together to customize a treatment plan designed to offer relief to your designated area of concern.  You will be treated while lying on a massage table or sitting in a comfortable chair.  During your session, your practitioner will use either metal tipped probes or metal plates that insert very low frequency, pain free micro-currents.

How Long Are Appointments?

Pain and injury recovery sessions take anywhere from 45 - 60 minutes depending on the specific protocol being used during your appointment. All facials are 60 minutes.

How Often Should Appointments Be Scheduled?

Accepted Answer

For Pain and Injury Recovery:
Effects of the treatments are cumulative, oftentimes nearly doubling with each subsequent session. To achieve this therapeutic effect, we recommend scheduling 3 treatments per week (consecutive if possible) for 4 weeks, followed by monthly visits to maintain as needed.

Most clients will feel significant improvement after their first session. That being said, some clients may not need more than 3-6 treatments – the more chronic the issue, the more sessions you will need.

For Beauty/Facials Sessions:
If you are looking to just relax while getting a facial, then you can schedule a single session. If you are looking for long term results in fine lines and wrinkles please schedule a minimum of 6 sessions, at least 1 session per week every week.  You will see the best results with 12 sessions, scheduling 2 sessions per week, then have routine maintenance.

What Should I Do To Prepare For An Appointment?

Please be sure to hydrate – we can’t stress this enough! The best results are acheived when clients hydrate more than usual both before and after your session, and maintain this on a day to day basis. Please also drink 12-24 ounces of water, coconut water, or electrolyte drink 30 minutes to 1 hour before your appointment. Electricity needs water to conduct, so this is crucial.
 
Meditation and visualization are also vitially important when it comes to healing the body, and we always encourge our clients to take a few moments to practice each day before their appointment.

Pain Relief & Injury Recovery:
Wear loose, comfortable clothes. Depending on the treatment we may have you change into a gown.
 
For Beauty Sessions:
Please remove makeup, earrings, and necklaces, and wear a V-neck or other clothing that allows access to your upper chest and neck.

Do You Accept Insurance?

No, we do not accept insurance. However, we offer discounts for booking multiple sessions at a time.

What Is Your Cancellation Policy?

Clients are able to cancel appointments up to 48 hours in advance. After this time, canceled sessions are charged a $75 cancellation fee if you have your card on file, otherwise you are subject to losing that session.
